| NeXT mini |
The NeXT mini in LittleBigPlanet PS Vita.
|Initial Release Date||NeXT mini v1.0|
|Level (LBP Vita)||The T-Games NeXT Mini - LBPVitas first portable media player!|
The NeXT mini is the only NeXT console to be in the game LittleBigPlanet PS Vita.
Like it's LittleBigPlanet counter-part, the NeXT mini can read Collections (Folders), with up to 100 pieces of assorted Media (Files), including Music, Picture, Game, Cut-scene and Other.
The NeXT mini runs on a completely different engine to any of the other NeXT consoles, since the console itself was not originally a NeXT, but instead a 'MediaTouch', which was not developed by GameEx. The NeXT mini can still read the old MediaTouch cartridges, meaning that it is the only T-Games Console with the default ability to be 100% compatible with another console from a different line.
The NeXT mini runs on the MuTo-MeX Engine, which is a modified version of the MuTo-Me Engine, which again, is a modified version of the MuTo Engine.
MuTo is the Engine that the MusicTouch (a music player created by T-Games in LittleBigPlanet Vita) uses. It allows for basic on/off and control of a cartridge and the music files within it.
MuTo-Me is the Engine that the MediaTouch (a media player in LittleBigPlanet Vita that was replaced by the NeXT mini) used. The modifications made to the MuTo Engine allowed for the MediaToch to have a start-up and shut-down tune, control a cartridge and have basic control over the files within it (Games, Music, Photos and Other).
MuTo-MeX is the Engine that the NeXT mini itself runs on. The modifications made allowed cartridges to support Memory Cards and Mod Cards (Mod Cards are equivalent to the Accessories for the other NeXT Consoles).
