Catalogs are sheets of information giving item details about a platform (or for creators, if applicable). Adoption of the standard as opposed to Wikipedia's "List of (Console) Games" is spotty, and is only regarded by a number of T-Games members.

InitializationEdit

If a catalog isn't available but is desired, {{Alert|L}} can be added to the top of the previous list.

For a console (with an article) to have a catalog, the page must be listed as: (CONSOLE PAGE)/Catalog

The StandardEdit

All catalogs begin with {{Alert|K}}, followed by a table.

Content-OrientedEdit

For catalogs that document the content.

GamesEdit

The minimum requirement for the games table looks like this:

Games (#)
Game Developer Exclusive
<big>'''Title Goes Here'''</big> [[Developer]] {{no}}

The Developer column is necessary for attribution. The Exclusive column is necessary for first party releases.

Other columns include:

  • Release Date
    When was this game released? Not necessary since it is often difficult to track this down for each release.
  • Genre
    What kind of game is this? Not necessary since genres are subjective to taste and are named differently by different developers.
  • P#
    How many players does this game support? Not necessary since most only support 1.
  • Version
    What version of the software development kit does this game use? Not necessary since SDK versions are usually never differentiated.
  • Format
    How is this content distributed? Not necessary since most consoles only take cartridges.
  • Development Status
    How is the development of this game going? Not necessary since it is often difficult to track this down for each developer.

MusicEdit

The minimum requirement for the music table looks like this:

Music (#)
Release Artist Label Exclusive
<big>'''Title Goes Here'''</big> Artist Label {{no}}

The Artist and Label column is necessary for attribution. The Exclusive column is necessary for first party releases.

Other columns include:

  • Release Date
    When was this disc released? Not necessary since it is often difficult to track this down for each one.
  • Genre
    What kind of music is this? Not necessary since genres are subjective to taste and are named differently by different musicians and labels.
  • Tracks
    How many songs are in this release? Not necessary since some releases are continuous mixes.
  • Format
    How is this content distributed? Not necessary since most consoles only take cartridges.
  • Production Status
    How is the production of this release going? Not necessary since it is often difficult to track this down for each producer.

Cartridge-OrientedEdit

The new cartridge catalog sheet looks like this:

Games (#)
Name Items Aggregator Exclusive
Test Compilation Fun Game - DD Games DD Games Yes
Fun Game (Expert Mode) - DD Games
{| style="width:100%; text-align:center" class="wikitable"
|+<big><big>Games</big></big> (#)
|-
!Name
!Items
!Aggregator
!Exclusive
|-
|rowspan="2" | <big>'''Test Compilation'''</big>
|'''Fun Game''' - DD Games
|rowspan="2" | DD Games
|rowspan="2" {{yes}}
|-
|'''Fun Game (Expert Mode)''' - DD Games
|}

If you would like to list other columns, see the content-oriented categories.

NOTE: Because rowspan is highly frowned upon, this catalog method is completely optional.

CustomEdit

A custom table looks like this:

Custom (#)
Release Developer
<big>'''Title Goes Here'''</big> [[Developer]]

The Developers column is necessary for attribution.

CodeEdit

{| style="width:100%; text-align:center" class="wikitable"
|+<big><big>CATEGORY</big></big> (#)
|-
!Column Header
|-
|One Item
|}

{| starts the table. style="" defines CSS styles. width:100%; stretches the table out to the entire page. text-align:center; aligns the text to the center of their boxes. class="wikitable" uses the MediaWiki default style of tables.

|+ defines the title of the table. |- separates rows. ! starts a header box.
